Argentina’s Fruit Industry Marks Its Presence at MACFRUT 2025

Fruits from Argentina participated for the first time in MACFRUT, one of the most important trade fairs in the European fruit and vegetable sector, held in Rimini, Italy, from May 6 to 8.
This milestone was made possible thanks to the collaborative work between Fruits from Argentina and the Italian Chamber of Commerce, which, in its ongoing commitment to international promotion, supported the delegation of Argentine companies led by the organization. Their joint effort reinforced the commitment to boosting Argentine SMEs’ export development and strengthening bilateral ties with Italy.
Argentina’s presence underscored the sector’s dedication to opening new markets, consolidating exports, and promoting the national brand. This participation not only fosters commercial relationships but also positions Argentina as a key player in the global fresh produce trade.
“Fruits from Argentina represents the collective effort of the sectors that comprise it. We are committed to jointly promoting our produce and being present on the international stage in order to drive the economic and productive development of our country. This is achieved through institutional strengthening and long-term relationships built and maintained in global markets,” said Jorge Pazos, President of the Argentine Blueberry Committee.
